Everything You Need to Know About the Vintage Ohio Wine Festival

The Vintage Ohio Wine Festival is one of Lake’s biggest summertime events. Every year the large tents set between the tall oak trees attract thousands of wine lovers from around the country. Don’t miss out on the fun. We have everything you need to know about touring the Vintage Ohio Wine Festival.

Exploring the Festival

There is so much to see and do at the Vintage Ohio Wine Festival. Shop the vendors, sing along with the live music, learn a new kitchen skill, and, of course, sip on some of the best vino Ohio has to offer.

  • Cooking School

Headed by Chef Lisa Pucci Delgado, the festival’s cooking school holds demonstrations and samplings throughout the day. Chef Delgado is known for her role on Food Network’s “Chopped” and she’s an expert in everything Big Green Egg and spice cabinet-related.

Guests chefs will include Frank Lacabucci from Willoughby’s wood-fired Italian spot, Pranzo, along with farm-to-table aficionado, Michael Thomas. Demonstrations take place every hour from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m.

  • Vendors

You don’t have to be a chef to taste the fruits of one’s labors—indulge in the festival’s gourmet food crafters. Dig into Joe Schmos Kitchen’s Italian hot peppers and sausage mixes, but save room for dessert at Busy B Bakery’s gluten-free pastries.

When you’ve satisfied your palate, walk it off by shopping the unique vendors. From jewelry to candles to “thingamajigs,” the Vintage Ohio Wine Festival is sure to have something for everyone.

  • Musical Entertainment

What would the Rock and Roll Capital of the World be without the rhythm and blues of their local artists? The festival grounds provide two stages showcasing talented performers. Wander the festival to the sounds of strumming guitars or tap along stage-side underneath the setting sun.

Wineries and Breweries

Chances are, you’re visiting the festival to discover all of Ohio’s culminating wine crafters. For these two event-filled days, all of the best are gathered in one spot. And just in case you brought along a brew lover, the festival has something for them too.
