Wine and Walleye Festival

2025 Dates and Information Coming Soon! Experience how fine wine and fishing combine at the Wine and Walleye Festival in Ashtabula! This exciting event takes place at the shores of Lake Erie, giving you a weekend full of local wine tastings, delicious food, live entertainment, and fishing tournaments!

Happenings and Times

Friday: The festival starts Friday at 4pm with kickoff festivities and wine tasting. Make sure you have your dancing shoes on because at 6pm there’s live music and entertainment! If you prefer running shoes, there’s a Walley-eye’d 5K happening too!

Saturday: See who can reel in the biggest Walleye on Saturday at the Walleye Fishing Tournament from 6:15am-2:30pm. Stop by the assorted food and beer tents to get some delicious snacks and beverages all day. The award ceremony time will be determined soon, so check the event website for the latest details and changes in schedule.

The entertainment doesn’t stop! From mid-morning to 9:30 there will be live entertainment, music and shows. Stick around for the VIP Wine Garden Fireworks Extravaganza at 8:30pm, and the Lighted Boat Parade at 9:00pm.

Sunday: There’s more fishing family fun happening on Sunday, with a street fair from noon to 5:00pm. Musical guests will be performing from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
