Your Guide to the Wine and Walleye Festival
A Lake Erie Summer Tradition
2019 marks the 11th Annual Wine and Walleye Festival. Each year, hundreds of people gather to get a proper taste of Northeast Ohio! It is a three-day event that takes place on the historic Ashtabula Harbor. You can look forward to live music, wine and craft beer tasting, a wine garden, boutique shopping, and more. Remember to come hungry! A variety of gourmet food stations and food trucks are always in attendance.
The 2019 event takes place on Friday, July 26; Saturday, July 27, and Sunday, July 28.
Special Festival Events
In addition to days filled with music, great food, and wine tasting, you can also look forward to a variety of events. One of the most anticipated events of the festival is the Walley-Eye’d 5K; it is one of Northeast Ohio’s most challenging and fun summer races!
When night time comes around, you won’t want to miss fireworks or the lighted boat parade. Watch as boats, large and small, make their way across the Ashtabula Harbor in style! The lighted boat parade is free to attend, and the fireworks take place shortly after the parade ends.
Last but not least, the Wine Garden is the festival’s main event. Read on to catch a sneak peek of what wineries to expect this year!

- M Cellars
- Maple Ridge Vineyard
- Laurentia Vineyard and Winery
- Laurello Vineyards
- Ferrante Winery
- Hundley Cellars
