The Grand River Valley Turkey Trot is Thanksgiving like you’ve never had it before. The premier progressive dinner event will put you in the holiday spirit before you can say cheers

For one night only, go vineyard hopping and allow seasoned winemakers to assist you in pairing your favorite Thanksgiving dishes with excellent wine pairings. Pair Pinot with pies or Syrah with stuffing. And don’t limit yourself to one winery; try all of the best wines during your trip through the Turkey Trot.

This year’s event includes an array of top-rated local vendors. Start at Debonne Vineyards and enjoy all-encompassing views of their freshly harvested vines. While you’re there be sure to swing by their sister company, Double Wing Brewing Co. From there, you’ll want to check out Ferrante Winery. The friendly winery boasts health-conscious wine options paired with local, live music. Sit by the fire at Grand River Cellars and enjoy your favorite reds with roast turkey. Venture over to Laurello Vineyards to experience the best of Ohio’s ice wine while enjoying the decadent desserts. Finish your tour at Saint Joseph Vineyard.   • Who Does It Benefit?

Entry to the event at each winery is five dollars and includes wine tastings, food pairs, and entertainment. Bring a canned good and receive one dollar off of your admission price. Donations and proceeds go to benefit local food banks during the potentially challenging holiday season. Tickets are available at the door.
