What You’ll Find at Ashtabula County’s Lights on the Lake

About Lights on the Lake

Ashtabula County’s Lights on the Lake is the largest holiday light display on Lake Erie. For over a decade, this annual holiday event has delivered quality fun to the Ashtabula community. It is a driving tour that leads visitors through the lovely Lakeshore Park. Visitors can see over 70 dazzling, professional displays and thousands of twinkling lights!

From fire-breathing dragons to Frosty the Snowman, there are so many displays to look forward to! Year after year, the Lights on the Lake committee continues to expand and improve the festival, so you can always look forward to something new.

Special Events

In addition to light displays, Lights on the Lake offers several special event nights. If you would like to incorporate some exercise into your vacation, then check out the Lights on the Lake Walk Through. The walk through is a one-night event that allows visitors to see the lights on foot! Other popular events include visits from Santa Claus and horse-drawn carriage tours.

Help Your Neighbor Night is another highlight of the festival. During these nights, the Lights on the Lake committee collects non-perishable foods that are later distributed to Ashtabula County food pantries.
