“Hosted by the Lift Bridge Community Association along with coordination by the City of Ashtabula, the 11th Annual Wine and Walleye Festival will be on Bridge Street in the heart of the Historic Ashtabula Harbor this July 26th thru July 28th. Be sure to mark your calendars for the final weekend in July with hopes of great weather, summer vacation schedules, and an amazing fireworks celebration scheduled for Saturday evening following the lighted boat parade.
Live music and entertainment all weekend long are included in the new lineup of festivities for 2019. The festival will continue to offer the Wine Garden Event providing some of the best local and regional wines from several wineries found throughout the Grand River Valley. In addition to wine tasting activities and in coordination with the multiple Historic Ashtabula Harbor restaurants, many special pairing dinners will be offered to meet your appetite and tasteful palates all weekend long.”

July 27, 2019 Saturday – Island Days Reggae Fest – The Landing Lakefront Festival Plaza, adjacent to Old Firehouse Winery. Featuring Island Music and a Reggae Band. Noon to 8 pm.
Sample wines from Ohio wineries offering regional wines ranging from world-class wines like Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc or Riesling to fun-to-drink fruit wines made from fresh strawberries, blackberries, peaches and raspberries. Whether one enjoys red, white, blush, dry, sweet or something in-between, there will be an opportunity to find a favorite “Vintage Experience.”
